Understanding and addressing health disinformation
Ravi Sreenath, our Cofounder and Managing Director, conducted a virtual training with the European Digital Media Observatory on using interdisciplinary approaches to address health disinformation that goes beyond vaccines. Our session analyzed the sophisticated tactics and manifestations of health disinformation, equipping participants with deeper insights on the mechanics of how false narratives spread and gain traction. We used real-world examples from our research to highlight the ways health disinformation intersects with and is amplified by other types of disinformation, particularly climate change.
